2004 King Family Reunion

The 2004 King family reunion was held July 31 in Perinton Park. We had good attendence considering the threatening forecast and, in fact, managed to get through dinner, family pictures and games before the anticipated downpour. The caterers were ready with the promised dinner on time

and family members lined up to try the pig as well as the other goodies brought to be shared.

It was a warm muggy day but because of the weather, we had the park pretty much to ourselves.

The children were antsy waiting to play games and didn't appreciate taking pictures first.

We managed to get most of the 'Kings' attending together for a group picture.

We had a lot of Ezekial descendants as we usually do, and several Wesley, Dewey, Alexander, Lewis, and Minnie King descendants.

We had several King's who we've lost since the last reunion that were conspicuously absent. I had intended to mention all of them, but somehow didn't. I would like to list them here so that their families know that they are missed. They are Charles King, Donald King, Allen King, Virginia King, and Irving King.

I had brought a CD slideshow of old pictures and pictures from previous reunions as well as some old documents that I had scanned, that ran on my laptop during the reunion and I scanned some pictures that people had brought and added them to the files. My thanks to Jody Benedict, Dean King, Sally Gill, and Susan King who took digital pictures during the reunion and allowed me to add these to what I already had and make CDs for families who wanted them.
