The 2007 King family reunion will be held in Perinton Park at the enclosure on July 21, 2007. I would love to have some 'Kings' that have never attended be part of this get together.After the responses have been tabulated about the proposed 2007 reunion, we will have a family style everyone brings a dish to share type picnic.Each family will be asked to bring the main meat of their choice and I and my family will have what is needed to cook and serve whatever each of you bring. I will be sending a snail mail message to everyone currently on my mailing list. If there is anyone who has moved since the last mailing, please send me your new address so that I may update my database. I really don't have a feel for how many we might have attending, but I am certainly looking forward to seeing all my 'King' relatives again. I know this reunion will be different as we have lost quite a few of the older generation 'Kings' since the last one. Hope to see all the remaining 'Kings' in July!
Probably the hardest thing to do is to attempt to see into the future. For me, I can tell you that I will do all I can to add new information to our database. It would be great if we could track down some descendants of the lost siblings ( those not usually represented families) in time to offer them a chance to attend the next one.
If anyone has any pictures they would like to send me to be displayed here (maybe some of the 'new' Kings who are the future of the family), I'd be more than happy to put them here. If there are old pictures that need some identification, send them as well. Maybe some family member can help identify unknown people or circumstances. There is a wealth of data that I would like to tap into while it is still possible to have access to it. If anyone has any 'King' stories they would like to share, I would be happy to place them on this page for everyone's enjoyment.
